Service Description
At The Modern Diosa, our stylists provide personalized haircuts that cater to your unique style and preferences. We do not offer clipper haircuts. It's important to note that a haircut and hair trim are synonymous at our salon. For shorter haircuts, we recommend touch-ups every 3 to 6 weeks. Mid-length haircuts should be maintained every 6 to 10 weeks, while longer hair or low maintenance styles can go up to 10 to 15 weeks without requiring maintenance. We also offer bang trims for new or existing bangs. Our team of professionals is here to educate and guide you on the best haircut and maintenance routine for your individual needs. NOTE - Welsy Mourino's haircut service provide a range of treatments such as scalp treatment, shine treatment, and hair masque. These treatments vary according to the specific needs of your hair, and are designed to promote strength and overall hair health. Welsy’s belief in achieving healthy hair and scalp is her top priority for her clientele. Please note that Welsy's services are charged at an hourly rate of $200. Haircuts are an hour long, some times clients may need more time due to hair length or density.
Cancellation Policy
At The Modern Diosa, we value your time and ours. Please review the following before booking. Booking an appointment confirms your agreement to these policies. Appointments & Consultations Certain services, including hair extensions, toppers, wigs, and integration systems, require a consultation prior to booking. Appointments are reserved specifically for you and are not rushed. Deposits & Payments A deposit or retainer is required to secure most appointments and is non-refundable. Hair orders and custom pieces must be paid in full before ordering. Remaining balances are due the day of service unless otherwise arranged. Hair Orders & Custom Pieces All hair extensions, toppers, wigs, and integration systems are custom orders and are final sale. Processing and shipping timelines may vary and are not guaranteed. Cancellations, Reschedules & No-Shows We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged 50–100% of the scheduled service. Deposits are forfeited, and outstanding balances must be paid before rebooking. Late Arrivals Late arrivals may result in a shortened service or reschedule. If we are unable to complete your service due to lateness, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation. Refunds & Adjustments No refunds are offered on services, hair, custom pieces, or retail. Adjustment requests must be made within 48–72 hours and do not apply to change of mind, lifestyle factors, or improper aftercare. Maintenance & Aftercare Proper aftercare and routine maintenance are required. Damage caused by improper care, missed maintenance, or extended wear is not eligible for a redo or adjustment. Hair Loss & Medical Disclosure Clients must disclose all medical conditions, medications, hair loss diagnoses, or scalp concerns prior to service. Results may vary based on individual hair and scalp health. Health, Safety & Salon Etiquette We reserve the right to refuse service for unsafe scalp conditions, contagious conditions, or inappropriate behavior. Guest, child and pet policies will be communicated at booking. Photography & Agreement Before and after photos may be taken for marketing unless you opt out. Policies are subject to change. Booking an appointment confirms acceptance of all salon policies.
